  • how to use Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques to change your beliefs and control your emotions.

About hypnosis

People have used alternate states of consciousness for thousands of years. A common example of such states is meditation. When we relax our body and calm our mind, this may help us to find solutions to our problems.

Some people may have negative associations with the word "hypnosis". The hypnotist is trying to control another person, giving him commands. Sometimes these commands may be pretty stupid, such as "bark as a dog". Fortunately, only a small percentage of people is susceptible to such commands. That's why stage hypnotists choose very carefully their demonstration subjects.

There are other types of hypnosis. They are more practical, in a sense they can help you achieve your goals, for example, decrease stress at work or stop smoking. And they are also more gentle - they help you access your internal resources in a variety of ways. Anyone can practice hypnosis!

NLP and stress management

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a technology that can help you control how your brain works, including your beliefs and emotions. It was originally developed in 1970s by Dr. Richard Bandler and Dr. John Grinder.

Let's make a quick experiment. Remember a time when you felt really amazing. See what you saw, hear what you heard, feel what you felt. In your mind's eye notice where the picture of this memory is located. Now move the picture closer and make it bigger. Notice how your feelings change. And now move the picture further, make it smaller. Again, notice how your feelings change when you do that. Most likely the first time your feelings got stronger and the second time they got weaker. That's one simple trick that literally allows you to control the intensity of your emotions.

That's only one example of what NLP can do. I will be happy to assist you to find the technique that will help you achieve your positive goal. See you!
